It amazes me that some people believe HIV-AIDS is a hoax…or that we just elected a terrorist.
Yet – despite the fact that of all people Pat Robertson flipped on the issue - I can’t reconcile that there’s still a lot of people out there that believe global warming is a myth. Sure, and all that video from Katrina was shot at the same Hollywood soundstage where the fake moon landings were filmed.
IDIOTS!
Well, to the deniers out there I say pack your passports and your hip-waders.

That’s called high tide with off-shore winds. Read the article. Global warming has nothing to do with it. Venice is sinking.
Squidward, see the big picture…please.
The big picture is that there is no consensus on “global warming.” The latest info states that the highest temps were recorded in 1998 and that temps have dropped since then. NASA is now stating that global cooling is in effect due to reduced solar output. Others, like yourself, still believe that mankind is inducing global warming.
If you must blame global warming for something, use actual verifiable results instead of straw arguments. This is not from global warming. Drought conditions and possible polar melting are examples of conditions from possible global warming (not necessarily man made).
Whoa there, cargosquid, don’t be spreading that manure here.
Let’s look at the data, from NASA, presented last month:
“Through the first 11 months, 2007 is the second warmest year in the period of instrumental data, behind the record warmth of 2005, in the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) analysis. The unusual warmth in 2007 is noteworthy because it occurs at a time when solar irradiance is at a minimum and the equatorial Pacific Ocean has entered the cool phase of its natural El Niño — La Niña cycle.”
