But you know what’s sad? This means they don’t feel as strongly about McCain or Obama as they did about Bush 4 years ago.
So they endorse a Democrat for Senate, a Republican for the House, and Jarack McBama for President.
UPDATE by Dan: The Richmond Times-Dispatch has endorsed McCain.

This non-endorsement may have more to do with selling papers and advertising than anything else. These are tough times for the MSM and in the past 4 years the FL-S surely has seen its rate-base shrivel.
I think it’s an unintended tip-o-the-hat to you folks and the work that fred2blue’s been doing … the FLS is in decline and F2B is helping keep Virginia Moving Forward … it’s still a shame that the dominate area newspaper has such a radical right wing editor that it is passing on endorsing someone who will make an outstanding President, Barack Obama
