Commercials like this are just dumb. I don’t like McCain for other reasons, but to suggest that he was celebrating the demise of the Katrina victims just makes you look ridiculous.
Liberals suffer from an inability to see any vote in terms of eventualities. Liberals love to make new commissions, committees and departments to oversee new programs. Then they will turn around a few years later and sob about how they’re out of money. Quit trying to use disasters to create new dependents on government so you can stay in office.
Go down to New Orleans himself with a bucket? How about if, during the worst natural disaster in the history of this country, Bush and McCain not CELEBRATE. Is that too much to ask?
If the government didn’t refuse to spend money to build levees that could withstand a category 5, these dependents wouldn’t exist in the first place. How’s that for an eventuality? Pay a little now, or pay BIG later.
